Posted 2010-02-15 10:15:45

Francis from L’Arche Beloeil has been a strong advocate for L’Arche in Haiti for a very long time. Since the 12th of January, his commitment has become stronger than ever.

A month after the earthquake, as media attention shifts from Haiti, and as the work of rebuilding Haitian society and L’Arche Carrefour gets underway, Francis is launching an appeal on the Internet.

IMPORTANT

As noted in the International Meeting Ground, a new network, larchenetwork.org, will be online as of tomorrow. It has been created for all members of L’Arche, especially those who are part of social networks like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Wisearth, etc.

All our information and materials about Haiti will be gathered and made available on larchenetwork.org, so that the situation, in particular the situation of people living with intellectual disabilities, can be used by all L'Arche members and made more widely known.

All photos, videoclips, article, blogs, etc. will be assembled on larchenetwork.org, as will direct links to your social networks. The object of this effort is to promote solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Haiti during this first year of rebuilding Haitian society.

Start Tomorrow at larchenetwork.org
