L'Arche Cape Breton Springfest

The Judique Community Centre was the site of the latest opportunity for members of L'Arche Cape Breton to share their musical and theatrical talents with the public.  

 

Over a three course meal, guests were treated to selections by our choral group, Joyful Noise, and a four act dramatic presentation about key themes of community life - love, grief, laughter, and celebration.

The evening fininshed with a video presnetation entitled "I AM..." and featuring six members of L'Arche Cape Breton speaking fromt he heart about their loves and their dreams.  The idea for "I AM..." came from Cheryl Zinyk and the members of Solexpress at L'Arche Toronto, and was received with a standing ovation and many moist eyes in the audience of over 200 people.  You can watch it for yourself at
