In the context of a team environment and guided by the vision, mission and mandate of L’Arche Edmonton the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of personnel and volunteers including:

• processing applications
• screening and selection
• training, formation
• role evaluation
• implementation and support of policies, procedures and practices of

• L’Arche Western Canada Region
• L’Arche Canada
• Government regulations

SKILLS

• Knowledge and experience of L’Arche
• Is committed to and can articulate the vision and mission of L’Arche
• Demonstrates leadership in a L’Arche Community context
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Good communication skills and administrative skills
• Ability to implement conflict and stress management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of government labour relations policies and requirements
